Job Description: The incumbent in this position is responsible for the development and implementation of a state wildlife fishery or plant ecology program for the Environmental Resource Management Department (ERMD) of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The individual develops, analyzes, and interprets biological data; assesses impact to fish and wildlife resources and designs programs to mitigate impacts. Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Chemistry or a related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years experience working as Biologist, Zoologist, Botanist or knowledge/experience demonstrating good knowledge of fish, wildlife, conservation biology, plant ecology and/or habitat management practices is required. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and be able to travel to all STOF Reservations and other locations as necessary. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
