The UF Graduate School’s Office of Graduate Diversity Initiatives (OGDI) will be offering the following funding opportunities for graduate students from underrepresented backgrounds. Please share this information with prospective students as appropriate.
FAMU Feeder Fellowship
The Florida A&M University (FAMU) Feeder Fellowship affords FAMU students the opportunity to receive advanced study in graduate programs not available at FAMU. UF is one of more than 40 universities in the FAMU Feeder Program aimed at increasing the number of FAMU students in graduate programs. The program is a collaboration between the Graduate School and participating departments, to provide a stipend, in-state tuition, fees, and health insurance for up to five years for Ph.D. students or up to three years for MFA students.
Fall 2021 Application Deadline: March 1, 2021
Students are strongly encouraged to apply early as decisions are made on a rolling basis. No application materials will be accepted after March 1.

McNair Graduate Assistantship
The McNair Graduate Assistantship Program was created to provide support for students who have successfully completed the McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program as undergraduates. The program is a collaboration between the Graduate School and participating departments, to provide a stipend, in-state tuition, fees, and health insurance for up to four years for Ph.D. students or up to three years for MFA students.
