Social Media, Communications, and Marketing Internship
Coastal Connections, Inc. (CCinc), is a 501(c)(3) environmental nonprofit with a mission to protect coastal habitats and sea turtles. We are seeking a volunteer Social Media, Communications and Marketing assistant to help build, enhance, and diversify how CCinc presents its sea turtle conservation projects and educational community programs in Vero Beach, Florida.
SALARY: Unpaid, Volunteer Internship
EMPLOYMENT PERIOD: Temporary – 15 weeks, part-time up to 30 hours/week
WORK DETAIL: The work characteristics described here are representative of those interns may encounter while performing essential functions of this job.
–The “Office” is not one single location, but all areas in which administrative business, program operations, and community networking occurs. All work will be completed in Vero Beach, FL.
–All applicants must provide their own transportation and have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
–Help develop a vision for CCinc’s social media portfolio that will engage existing CCinc loyalists and grow an audience of future diverse supporters.
–Help curate and create brand-consistent visual assets that support CCinc’s mission.
–Provide support at live and online events.
–Develop a photographic library and organize the internal picture database.
