This position calls for a motivated and hardworking individual(s) with marine science, biology, husbandry, or similar background for a bivalve production facility. The hatchery/nursery technician is responsible for the daily maintenance of the hatchery/nursery; including, but not limited to: broodstock, larval, seed production and microalgae duties. These duties include stock management through all phases, tank cleaning, tank filling, moving hoses, operating pumps, handling disinfectant chemicals and fertilizers, performing algae inoculations, etc. Will be working in a physically challenging environment. Must be willing to work weekends. This position is PART-TIME, with potential for a FULL-TIME offer. This position is offering $8.50/ hr.
