Research Coordinator II

LOCATION:Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
EXPECTED SALARY: $39,000-$47,000 annually; commensurate with education/qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Florida driver license
- Advanced degree in social sciences preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of rural development and agricultural innovation processes. Social science research skills. Must possess critical thinking and strong writing communication skills. Analytical and problem solving including researching and analyzing complex data. Ability to organize and manage data/information and develop outreach strategy to share with diverse audiences. Must understand and practice excellent stakeholder engagement though professional attitude and appearance. Familiarity with Extension mission within Land Grant Universities. Ability to work as team player and establish effective working relationships with peers and external stakeholders. Ability to take ownership and resolve problems, manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines consistently. Flexible, accountable, self-motivated and capable of working independently
