The Center for Outdoor Recreation & Education (CORE) is seeking an OPS Program Specialist to assist in managing a comprehensive outdoor recreation program. The outdoor recreation program includes an adventure trips program, outdoor leadership education, skills workshops, and outdoor equipment rentals.
Bachelor’s degree and two years of appropriate outdoor leadership experience
Current Wilderness First Responder certification preferred OR ability to obtain upon hire
Current Adult/Child/Infant CPR & AED certification OR register to obtain the certification within
the 30 days of employment
Valid drivers license
No major moving violations within the past 3 years
The majority of normal work hours will be scheduled between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
Work hours will also include non-traditional times (after 5pm and on weekends) for student
staff meetings, outdoor trip programming, on-call duties, etc.
