Assistantship Description: This M.S. assistantship is for a student interested in undertaking research on forest taxation and economics. The student is expected to complete his/her thesis within 7 semesters from the start date.
Stipend and Benefits: This assistantship is based on a 40% stipend (16 hour work week). Position will offer about $19,551/year, full tuition waiver, and the University supplement for health insurance. Student will be responsible for paying activity fees to the University of Georgia.

Qualifications: Potential applicants should have strong analytical, quantitative and writing skills. Candidates with a background in forest/natural resources economics and/or forest management, forest products, and silviculture are encouraged to apply.
