Proposal
Information
All grant proposals must be routed through the SFRC grants office. Proposals must include a completed DSR-1 form and Cost Sharing letter, if appropriate. The SFRC Grants office will complete the Cost Share letter. The proposal packet must be reviewed and signed by the SFRC Director. The proposal will be added to the PeopleSoft System and the Grants Database, for tracking then walked to the Sponsored Programs office for processing.
Sponsored Program Agreements (SPA): SPA’s can be used for fixed price agreements with Corporations, Foundations, Agencies, etc. as long as they are not State or Federal.
If your proposal is awarded, a Notice of Award (NOA) will be issued by Sponsored Programs and sent to the SFRC grants office. You will be notified by the SFRC grants office your project budget is in the SFRC system.
Financial reports are available online. The Grants Office is available to address your questions.

New PIs that want to submit through FastLane, must go to http://apps.research.ufl.edu/research/fastlane/register.cfm You wwill be given a temporary password, which will need to be change when you go in for the first time.
Deadlines for Submitting Grants

All Proposals must be submitted at least 8 days prior to the submission deadline. This is necessary in order to obtain the Directors signature, the Dean’s signature, and meet DSR’s 5 day processing requirement for all proposals. If the PI requires assistance with completion of grants.gov forms or other forms, please allow for additional processing time
