A graduate teaching and research assistantship is available within the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources for the 2017-2018 academic year at either the MS or PhD level. The Graduate Teaching Assistantship in the Environmental Sciences program will involve serving as teaching assistant for the course Introduction to Environmental Science (ES 100). Teaching responsibilities include assisting the instructor with grading and course management. For the research component, an independent research project will be conducted in the Tree Physiology and Ecosystem Science Lab. The topic of the research project will be developed in conjunction with the academic advisor related to the general fields of environmental science, forest productivity and management, physiological ecology and global change biology.
