How to Apply
Minimum requirements for acceptance:
- Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
- For a person whose native language is not English, a minimum score of 550 on the paper-based and 213 on the computer-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
Restrictions
- A student who is not in good standing or who is under suspension from any institution may not register for non-degree course work
- Anyone who has been denied admission to the University of Florida may not register for non-degree course work
- A student who is already admitted to the University of Florida may not register for non-degree course work
Registration
To register for courses, at least four weeks before the beginning of each semester students should read the information for CALS non-degree seeking students and then complete a UF non-degree seeking application form.
- On the form in the “College” field select “THE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL AND LIFE SCIENCES - SFRC Geomatics Certificate Program”.
- You will need the desired course number(s) and section number(s) to complete the form (see the Course Schedule page)
The UF College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) will email the students and the School of Forest Resources and Conservation (SFRC) after the application has been approved. The SFRC Academic Support Services coordinator, Rhiannon Pollard (352 846-0853, rhiannon-pollard@ufl.edu) will then register students in the courses they have specified on the application form.
Tuition for this program will be paid to the University of Florida's University Financial Services Office.
