| Forest Ecology and Ecosystem Restoration Lab(FEER Lab) |
We are interested in exploring ways to make managed forested ecosystems ecologically sustainable. We also explore ways to restore damaged or degraded forest ecosystems. Our research program is deeply rooted in community and ecosystem ecology principles and we test our hypotheses in planted and restored forests, and natural and agro-forests in the U.S. and abroad.
I welcome you to explore the past and current research projects in our lab and if interested, join our active and vibrant group for an exciting journey into the wild world of forest ecology and ecosystem restoration. And, don’t hesitate…although we pronounce it as FEAR, no need to fear, it’s the FEER lab!
