Michael E. Bannister joined the School in 2001 to serve as the Assistant Director for the Center for Subtropical Agroforestry (CSTAF). Prior to this he worked for more than 20 years in international forestry and agroforestry development projects in Central America and the Caribbean.  He has extensive experience in Haiti agroforestry and still does consultancies there.  He became the Distance Education Coordinator for SFRC in October 2006.
