Ecosystems in Florida, the southeastern US, and the world face an unprecedented threat from climate change and human activities.  The School of Forest Resources and Conservation (SFRC) now offers an online graduate concentration and certificate program in Ecological Restoration that address a national need for professionals trained in this field, and in particular targets working professionals and full-time graduate students in the Southeastern US.  The need for such a program is at an all-time high as agencies and private companies involved in ecological restoration are striving to re-tool their work force with a solid academic training in ecological restoration.

Because SFRC is offering this program on line, busy professionals and students at remote locations will have a unique opportunity to meet their academic goals without the difficulty and expense of interrupting their careers and moving from their current locations. You will have the opportunity to interact with experienced faculty and to build a learning community with fellow students.

Take advantage of these opportunities and challenges; join us by enrolling in one of our new and exciting programs!

This distance education program is supported by a USDA CSREES Higher Education Challenge Grant to the University of Florida, with subcontracts to Alabama A&M University and Florida A&M University.
