Ways You Can Help

We are committed to building an inspiring ACMF Learning Center, but the cost will be significant. We need the help of our faculty, staff, alumni, stakeholders and friends to make this vision a reality. Jack Vogel (SFRC Alum) is heading the Development Committee to raise the needed funds for this project. We hope that you share our excitement about this new Learning Center and will be generous in your donation toward its construction.

You may make donations by:

  1. Make a cash contribution in full or in a three-year-pledge and send a check made out to UF Foundation with a note to Fund # 017709 to Marie Meldrum, Box 110410, UF SFRC, Gainesville, FL, 32611-0410
  2. Using a credit card, online http://development.ifas.ufl.edu/online_giving.html and going to the bottom of the page under “Other Non-Endowed Funds” for Austin Cary Memorial Forest Learning Center Building Fund.
  3. Make a gift of land or other non-cash assets. For example there are tax benefits to making a gift directly from a 401 k or other similar instruments.
  4. Make a gift of building materials (dimension wood, engineered panels etc.), classroom equipment (tables, chairs, etc).
  5. Make a pledge through the UF Foundation using this form.

Opportunities exist for donors to name spaces like the Conference Room, Gallery, Classroom and deck. Outreach to donors is beginning and contributions at all levels are now being accepted. All contributors will be appropriately and visibly recognized in the Learning Center Gallery.
