Dr. Francis-Floyd is the director of the Aquatic Animal Health Program at the College of Veterinary Medicine. Go here to visit the website.

The Fish Health Laboratory is located in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences in Gainesville, FL, and is supervised by Dr. Petty. The laboratory offers diagnostic support to Florida aquaculture producers and assists county agents.

The Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory is located in Ruskin, FL. The aquatic animal health programs at the Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory are supervised by Dr. Yanong. This laboratory offers diagnostic support to Florida aquaculture producers. Go here to visit the website: http://tal.ifas.ufl.edu/

Teaching:
Diseases of Warmwater Fish is an 2 week intensive introductory course to fish medicine, and is taught in even years (2010, 2012, etc.).
Advanced Fish Medicine is a 1 week intensive fish medicine course taught in odd years (2007, 2009, etc.). For more information on these courses, go here:

Introduction to Fish and Aquatic Invertebrate Histological Interpretation is a semester length course offered in the fall of odd years.

SFRC's Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences offers a seminar series that occasionally includes fish health topics.
